Driving School in Khobar KSA

For driving in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), you need a driving license. The regulation in KSA requires you to have Saudi Driving License. The license can be obtained easily if you have already driving license from other country. If the country origins are from USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, China, Malaysia, or other developed country, you can get the license directly after the translation. For other countries, you can take the exam directly and get the license after passing the exam.

In case you do not have driving license, you need to take driving school since training outside the school is forbidden. You need to fill the form and get medical letter from authorized hospital.
The hospital usually requires you to get your form and photos stamped from the traffic police. You can get the stamp from the same place on driving school. Once you get the form and medical letter stamped, you need to show the form to the police once again to get another stamp.

You must bring your form , photos, iqama copy, and passport copy in a green folder to the registration. In the registration counter, you will be asked to pay the registration fee around 450 SAR.

Once you finish the registration, you will get receipt for taking the training. You can start by attending the class. You will see the video on computer exam.

Class session

The tutorial will give you basic understanding on traffic regulation and its penalties. The tutorial will is available on many languages. You will get a signature for attending this class.

Placement for training

You can attend the placement test on training ground to get next direction for the training. The instructor will show you the next place for training. You need to attend at least 5 times to get pass.

Training Ground

Here are several notes to pass the driving school.
1. after the placement test, you can come very early around 7 am to attend early practice outside the training ground. Early practice will save your time since there will be less queue.
2. attend the same instructor unless the instructor tell you come to another instructor. The same instructor will see your progress such that you will get passed easily.
3. some instructor are friendlier than other instructors. If you are comfortable with one instructor, you need to keep close.
4. Passing driving school does not mean you are allowed to drive and get driving license. You need to take the driving exam by showing the driving school certificate.
